[edit] Release date
The album was originally planned to be released in January 2009, but because of work with the Kometkameratene show the release is postponed to summer 2009. [2][3] Finally on March 20th 2009 a release date was given - June 15th 2009.
[edit] Production
On September 27th 2008 Gisle announced in the journal that he was working on the then-unnamed album. As always, he has been very secretive about the album. He has expressed a wish for Ugress 4 to be a dark and cinematic album.[4] As of February 2009, a first set of seven track candidates for Ugress 4 have been delivered to a close circle of crew (most likely including The Igor and Roar Hals) via a SoundCloud private set.[5] The set contains the following songs.
- (unintelligible)
- Blaupunkt (refused from Unicorn)
- Composed Capture
- Drama
- (unintelligible)
- Music For Coding
- Robot Army
On April 15th 2009, the first Reminiscience single, It Was A Great Year (Movies With Robots), was released along with the name of the album - Reminiscience.
[edit] Countdown
On April 26th 2009, the countdown to the release of Reminiscience - much like the earlier Unicorn Countdown - started. The Reminiscience Countdown started at 50 days, as opposed to the 100 days in the countdown for Unicorn.

[edit] Preorders and Release
On June 4th 2009 at half past midnight, Reminiscience came to preorders via the Uncanny Mall and email for $14.99. It was announced that 22 first preorderers would get the Reminiscience poster and Cinematronics cassette tape as an added bonus. At noon the same day, more than 22 preorders had been placed - nevertheless, everyone who had ordered so far would get the poster and the cassette. All preorderers will also receive a link to a free digital download of the album, one minute past midnight on the release day.
