This policy outlines the information Gislewiki collects, how that information is used, and the ways you can control how your information is shared.
This policy only applies to Gislewiki, available at www.gislewiki.com. Be aware that when you follow a link to an external site, this privacy policy does not apply, and Gislewiki has no control over the information they collect.

You are not required to register for an account or to provide any personal information to us in order to use Gislewiki.
In order to sign up for an account on Gislewiki, only your username and password are required. An email address and your real name are also requested during sign-up, but this is optional and does not disqualify of registration. Your email address will not be made public. However, automated emails and contacts from other wiki users may be delivered to the specified address.
Gislewiki also may send one or more cookies that helps Gislewiki to operate in its full functionality (such as keeping you logged into the service). Most web browsers allow you to disable cookies, and while it is not encouraged for the sake of the website functioning properly, you may do so on your discretion.
All data, including user data, regarding Gislewiki is stored in the Kingdom of Norway, and the servers may log some information whenever you access the website; information such as your IP address, the time of your visit and your browser type.
Gislewiki collects all information you provide when you create or modify the content of Gislewiki (such as making edits, uploading images, etc.) An indicator that you provided that information is left on the History tab associated with the edited page or appropriate special/image page; on the Recent Changes link, and in your user contributions.

Gislewiki only shares your information with others in the following circumstances:
- As should it be necessary in order to administrate the website
- As required by law enforcement agencies
- As we, in our sole judgment, deem necessary to investigate a breach of security
Should Gislewiki be transferred to another server, to a wiki farm or otherwise elsewhere from its current position, notice will be provided in due time should personal information be transferred or policy redesigned.
Aggregated, non-personal information may also be shared, including individual page hits, registration counts, and other statistical information.
